Let me guess.
You’ve tried making money online. Maybe more than once. You watched the videos, took notes, followed the steps, and still — nothing happened. So you started thinking maybe it just wasn’t meant for you.
I need you to stop right there.
Because I’ve been exactly where you are. And I can tell you with complete confidence: you didn’t fail because you weren’t smart enough, or disciplined enough, or because you picked the wrong method.
You failed because of one simple mistake that almost nobody talks about.
You didn’t know who you were talking to.
That’s it. That’s the whole reason.
And once I figured this out, everything changed.
I Tried Everything Too

A few years ago, I was deep in the “make money online” rabbit hole. I had tabs open with dropshipping tutorials, affiliate marketing guides, freelancing tips, and at least four different courses I had bought and barely finished.
I was posting content. I was trying different strategies. I was working hard — genuinely, truly hard.
But nothing was clicking.
I couldn’t figure out why. My content wasn’t getting engagement. Nobody was buying anything. It felt like I was talking into an empty room.
Then one day, I looked back at everything I had created and asked myself a really simple question:
Who is this actually for?
I couldn’t answer it. Not really. My honest answer was something like, “People who want to make money online, I guess.”
And that right there was the problem.
When You Talk to Everyone, You Reach Nobody

Here’s something that sounds simple but took me way too long to learn:
When your message is meant for everybody, it lands with nobody.
Think about it. If someone walked into a room and shouted, “Hey, someone here needs help!” — you might glance up, but you’d probably go back to what you were doing.
But if that same person walked in and said, “Hey, I’m talking to the person in the corner who’s been trying to figure this out for months and is completely exhausted” — you’d sit up straight. You’d feel like they were talking directly to you.
That’s the difference between generic content and content that actually connects.
Most beginners fall into the trap of thinking: the wider I cast my net, the more people I’ll catch. But online, it works the opposite way. The more specific you are, the more powerful your message becomes. The more people feel like you truly understand them, the more they trust you.
And trust is what turns readers into buyers.
What “Target Audience” Actually Means

Forget the complicated marketing textbooks for a second. Here’s the simplest way I can explain it:
Your target audience is one specific type of person with one specific problem.
That’s it. One person. One problem.
Here’s what that looks like in real life:
❌ “People who want to make money online”
✅ “People who tried making money online and failed”
❌ “Beginners”
✅ “Overwhelmed beginners who don’t know where to start and feel like they’ve already wasted too much time”
See the difference? The second version feels like a real human being. You can picture them. You know what they’re feeling. And if you ARE that person, it stops you mid-scroll because it feels like someone finally gets it.
The more specific you are, the more your content feels personal — and personal content is the kind that actually gets shared, saved, and remembered.
Why Your Content Wasn’t Connecting Before
If you’re being honest with yourself, here’s probably what happened:
You followed advice from someone who already had an audience. You copied strategies without fully understanding who you were trying to help. You created content that was technically fine but felt kind of… empty. Generic. Like something anyone could have written.
So people scrolled past it. Not because it was bad, but because it didn’t feel like it was written for them specifically.
Without that connection, there’s no trust. And without trust, there are no sales. It’s that simple.
This is the part that breaks most people, because they think the problem is their strategy. So they switch strategies. Then switch again. Then again. And the whole time, the real issue — not knowing their audience — follows them everywhere they go.
The Fix Is Simpler Than You Think
Here’s what I want you to do instead of trying to reach everyone:
Pick one person. Picture them clearly. Know what keeps them up at night, what they’ve already tried, what they’re scared of, and what they desperately want.
Then write like you’re having a conversation with just that one person.
Not a speech. Not a sales pitch. A real conversation.
When you do this, something almost magical happens. Your content gets sharper. Your words feel warmer. People start commenting things like, “This is literally me” or “How did you know I needed to read this today?”
That’s not luck. That’s what happens when you finally speak to the right person in the right way.
This Is Why Some People Make Money Online and Others Don’t
The people who make money online aren’t smarter than you. They don’t have some secret method you haven’t found yet.
They just understand their audience deeply. They know exactly who they’re talking to. And they show up consistently for that specific person.
When your message is clear, every part of your online business works better. Your content performs. Your offers convert. Your audience grows with people who actually trust you.
But when your message is foggy? Nothing works. Not the best strategy in the world, not the most expensive course, not the most hours you can put in.
Clarity first. Everything else second.
If You’re Ready to Start the Right Way
If you’re tired of trying different things and feeling stuck, I want to offer you something simple:

You Were Just Talking to the Wrong Room
Here’s the truth, and I want you to really hear it:
You didn’t fail. You were just trying to talk to everyone at once, and your message got lost in the noise.
That’s not a character flaw. That’s just a missing piece of information that nobody gave you.
Now you have it.
Go back. Get specific. Pick your person. Speak to them like they’re your one friend who really needs your help right now.
Do that — and I promise you, everything starts to change.
